Occupational Therapist

I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Occupational Therapist who specializes in Sensory Regulation, Emotional Regulation, and Co-Regulation. I collaborate with families to support emotional and sensory needs for improved engagement in Activities of Daily Livings (ADLs) and am passionate about teaching others about the role sensory processing plays in everyday life.

Using a trauma-informed care lens, I prioritize the creation of a safe space while working with the unique experiences and needs of individuals across the lifespans. I aim to provide individualized therapy to foster an atmosphere of collaboration where individuals can feel empowered to be as independent as they can be to engage in their valued activities. With children and youth, I strive to use a child-led approach to create a fun, engaging environment that promotes growth.

I am also trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S.) Approach for Feeding Therapy, which helps individuals with feeding difficulties build a positive, stress-free relationship with food, overcoming aversions and improving mealtime routines. Through my clinical expertise, I collaborate with individuals to understand how the nervous system impacts feeding and teach sensory strategies that support engagement in mealtime.
