Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy focuses on the things you want and need to do in your daily life and promotes health, well-being, and your ability to participate in the important activities in your life. This includes any meaningful activity that a person wants to accomplish, including taking care of yourself and your family, working, volunteering, going to school, among many others.

Occupational therapy in mental health can provide numerous benefits, including improved social engagement, better stress management skills, enhanced ability to participate in daily activities, reduced social isolation, improved cognitive function, and better coping mechanisms for managing mental health conditions like depression and anxiety, allowing individuals to live more fulfilling lives by addressing the impact of mental health on their daily functioning.
